do you remember
declaring undying love
the exquisite italics
on paper pure
like your skin
letter
ribbon tied
wax seal
melting
I love you
wild seas
log entry
deck three
love
overboard
font iris blue
like your eyes
par avion
brief
flying words
cyber script
alien symbols
faceless emoticons
decrying love
do you remember

Cor! I really liked this.
Cor! I really liked this. I'm curious to know what you mean by,
'Phew, just as well I left out all the commas etc.'
It was a conscious decision then? But I do agree that it works. I'm never quite sure what to do with punctuation in my own poems. I especially like the effect of, 'do you remember' without a question-mark. It becomes something quite different; sort of deadpan and hopeless. And hemming the whole thing in with this doleful refrain, really makes it resonate.

Just gorgeous...works brilliantly without punctuation too, as pointed out, the last line takes on a whole new tone.
