Soon Gone

Interpret as you will.
Essence wrapped stars
within honeyed peaks,
helping trembling corn
that ate breezes in a
million ways,
streaming paths stretched
so far messages can't go on,
nor coastal goodbyes to mourn
or weep garbled sound of ocean,
chanting nature's tender voice as
belly of fire radiating strength,
earth's weakness is a joyous song
arising from gathering storm,
like wild geese beating wings,
crowded raindrops scatter...
silently they sing their songs,
stories born swiftly dissolve
soon are gone.

Fun

The movement in this is very
The movement in this is very lovely Jenny and I love the idea of corn eating breezes. I think perhaps they do.

This made me think of breezes
This made me think of breezes being streaming paths, which I liked very much, also the "million ways" brought out the idea how many plants are in a field, each taking in and putting out as they grow.
These new poems unfold new understandings each time
