Thursday's Stroll

Storm Eleanor.
While out walking
strong winds blowing
feeling like
October's gales,
dead leaves dancing
jumping, flying,
circles around me
this way and that.
Rosy cheeked toddlers
energetic
excited at
gusty storm,
running, laughing
giving me a smile,
cheering me up
as I walk on.

These winds certainly blow
These winds certainly blow the cobwebs away, don't they, and like the toddlers, your cheeks seem to have got rosy and your eyes sparkly. I had to take the car out so I had to watch the doors didn't get wrenched out of my hands! Enjoyed sharing your enjoyable walk, Jenny, and nice you can get out to do so now. Rhiannon

Glad to hear all is going so
Glad to hear all is going so well with the hip, Jenny. Storm Eleanor really roared its way around my area, but thankfully no damage apart from a few branches going astray. Enjoyed your poem, and loved the idea in your comment about the leaves chasing the toddlers!

Lovely to hear you're leaping
Lovely to hear you're leaping into the new year with renewed gusto Jenny and back on top form! We had sheet lightening during the storm here, which was quite impressive!
