What do I know in a world without you?

We'll go on forever...you know that it's true,

life brings us problems, We Can Work It Out!

The two of us together that's what it's all about,

 

But what If we parted? Would life still go on?

Should existence be harder the longer you're gone?

On Growing Older, I stand steadfast and strong,

we both suffered pain, though neither are to blame.

 

I hope You're Happy Now, but if things become

Cold, you won't find me crying no longer a lost soul,

don't try to come back into my life asking for love,

cause I'm free flying with the birds up above.

Jenny, a marvellous take on the IP.  I really enjoyed too, hearing those songs again.  Sure brought back some memories.  Well done on the more than deserved cherries.

That's life Jenny; the ups and downs of many couples and the uncertainties that might arise in relationships.
The dilemma is well argued in your poem.
By the way, 'What do I know' could  have been  another title to add to your list.

many thanks for your inspired comment and the video. It's strange how these ideas for poems can come straight into your mind suddenly, just from reading something or if you're given an idea. I don't know where this one came from, but I'm glad it worked.
