These are stark and pared-back pieces. Their brevity gives them impact. I don't want to get into haiku debates, but they have a similar sense of a single focused thought brought to the page. It says something that my flabby comment is longer than any of your poems that I've just read.

the words are like pepper, you can't just use too much when is not needed
