He can't comb over
his rabid Nazi fanbase;
he can't comb over
his total lack of diplomacy;
he can't comb over
his ties with Russia;
he can't comb over
blood money from the NRA;
he can't comb over
his damage to the environment;
he can't comb over
that he thinks abortion is murder;
he can't comb over
that he is a narcissistic bigot;
a shooter with the rifle of power;
he can't comb them over with bull markets;
he can't cover them up with a baseball cap
that says "Make America Great Again"
or by claiming everything is "Fake news".
They glare in the sunlight of truth;
uncovered by the wind of change.

unfotunately they can't. Trump said during the election he could stand in the middle of a street and shoot someone and they'd still vote for him. They did. They do. I hate him too.

Well, yes I'm being optimistic but its like Andy Dufresne going through the sewer pipe in "The Shawshank Redemption". I don't think anything good can happen without resilient optimism.

Just a thought - do you need the last two lines?

Ending on ."..the wind of change" would be a hollow-point bullet in the heart of bigotry and bluster.
