When all the leaves were turning brown,
a jumping pumpkin came to town;
he jumped and bounced and bumped around,
that jolly jumping pumpkin.
The boys and girls all yelled, “Hooray!
It’s such a happy Autumn day
and look who has come out to play;
that jolly jumping pumpkin.
Although that pumpkin had no feet,
he’d bump and bounce along the street,
saying “hello!” to all he’d meet,
that jolly jumping pumpkin.
And sometimes he would jump so high,
he’d bump his head against the sky
and say to birds, “Look! I can fly!”.
That jolly jumping pumpkin.
