Russet Leaves (Autumn Rhyme)

Russet leaves are rustling

because the wind is bustling;

like whispering of gossipping

is how the leaves all sound.

Amber leaves are tumbling

because the sun is slumbering;

bright coloured carpet covering

each inch of Autumn ground.
