In your secret smile,
I see vixen’s teeth,
Tearing at my hide
To get to the meat beneath.
In your furtive glance,
I see eagle’s eyes,
Watching for me to run
Before you dive from the skies.
You wrap you arms around me;
Tell me all is fine.
If this is true then why do I
Squirm like a fish on a line?

Really like this, especially the last stanza, ends it well. Also I like the way that this is short and simple and you've managed to pick out one characteristic to make your point, nicely done, I thought.
