Yesterday went by like in a flash of light, and today went by in a blur.

Is Time speeding up I wonder?

I often ask people if they think time is moving faster, and all except one, who happens to be having HRT, and hating every slow second, of every slow day, has agreed that, yes it does seem to be moving faster.

In the not so distant past of video's, I watched a video that was based on a book called, 'A course in miracles'.

'A course in miracles' is a very long book, supposedly dictated,(channeled) - by the Lord Jesus Christ.

No I'm not joking 'google' it and see.

Anyway, the idea of the course is to undo one's perceptions, so we can then see that every experience we have had, is a conditioned event.

The time speeding up thing was on a video, and it had two people in it. One of them was something to do with the then, Archbishop of Canterbury, if memory serves me well, which it usually doesn't. So dont take my word for it. She may have been his wife or something. This was in the mid 80's sometime so it may be check-able.

So there they were, these two people, very straight church types, talking about this phenomena of time appearing to speed up, otherwise known as a 'Celestial Speed Up', by those of us in the know, nudge, nudge, wink, wink.

This is a true this story, and even though I was there at the time, I find it hard to believe myself.

The conversation was really odd, like.
"Oh have you heard about the celestial speed up?" "Ya I do think I have heard of such a thing. It's to do with time appearing to speed up as we head towards the millenium isn't it?" (Remember this was about 15 years before 2000). And so it went on with these, cardigan wearing, tea drinking people,discussing this huge metaphysical conundrum, as if they were gossiping about Mrs Smith's latest operation. Who's Mrs Smith?

I used to know some pretty strange people in those days, and sometime later, after watching this video, I got invited to a party, or so I thought. It turned out to be a kind of, signing up for a course, type of party.

Someone started talking about a workshop event he was putting on in London, and thought it would be a good idea if we all went to it! He even handed out questionnaires for us to fill in. I felt insulted, and slightly betrayed by the person who had invited me, and refused to fill one in.

Things got progressively more uncomfortable for me as they all started to fill in the questionnaires.

Around the table sat an astrologer, a new age accountant, a psychic healer, and an assorted bunch of 'New age' types. All very friendly, don't get me wrong, but a little misguided I felt at the time, as to this whole issue of filling in forms for this weird guy running the workshop.

I felt I needed to act fast, and decided to change the subject. They all seemed like intelligent types,so I thought maybe they'd like to be in on the latest news.'

"Erm, has anyone here heard about the celestial speed up?"I said.

It went very quiet, one looked at the other, and they carried on filling in the forms, no response whatsoever, complete silence. The work shop guy looked up at me pityingly, probably wondering why I didn't want to fill in one of his wonderful forms.

What was I to do? In my opinion these people were very weird, but they were now looking at me like I was mental. What hope did I have? I stood up and said to them, with all the dignity I could muster.
"Well I've got to get going now, there's not much time left you know. You really should check out this celestial speed up thing it's big news. Bye"
No one looked up, and I quietly left the party.
