I am a window cleaner I clean windows when I can
So I’ve got a bucket and a ladder and a window cleaner’s van
I never work with companies just households cash in hand
Then I get to keep my money from the tax man understand
Up my little ladder give the windows a quick splosh
Then down again knock on the door and pick up all my dosh
My squeegee’s very useful it takes all the water off
It saves a lot of time and works much better than a cloth
If you really want to see me go I’ll be done in just a minute
Now by any standards that’s pretty rapid innit
So if you want my services give me a little sign
Then I’ll come and do it all again in only four weeks time

Oh for the life of a window
Oh for the life of a window cleaner. I actually had a window cleaner with only one arm - how gullible am I?

Hello Geoffrey, I much
Hello Geoffrey,
I much enjoyed reading this. My husband was a window cleaner for a while.
I like the idea of a window cleaner who is scared of heights. Perhaps Geoffrey you should write one for him even though he was not your window cleaner.
