You smiled
I sighed
It left
I died
And, your
Eyes wide,
You fell
To my side...
You breathe
I hum
You sing
I strum
The strings
Your heart
Had since
Laid hope on...
We danced
We laughed
Under
Our tree
I love
You, dear
So don't
Forget me...

Really some of the best simple poetry I've read in a long time (don't read much poetry, granted, but that doesn't change how well done this was)
Simple, unwasted, brief but it remains in the mind long after I read it. Read it twice, actually.
