I know I don't need an excuse

Like mothers day, to show you

How much I care,or how grateful

I am to know your always there.

But I hope the card was ok and the

Gifts made you you smile.

I know you would walk

Miles for those Liatris flowers.

I also got you some sherry,which

I know your really like.but after

Finding out about poor aunt flow,

I felt a little low, and I drank it all

While crying on my new wooden

Floor.

I feel awful,but you will forgive me,

That's what great moms do. And

No one will ever compare to you.

Not only are you like an IPhone to

A teenager, very important.You are

My sun,without you my planet would

Not exist.

Hello there, Prettyrose...I missed this one till now. It is a beautiful tribute for Mothers' Day. The last stanza, and its reference to Iphones and teenagers, totally inspired

Really appreciate your comments and reading my work,means a lot. Thank you, it was in response to Torscot saying one of my other two mothers day poems, were not so happy, not exact words, I did have it almost done before Torscot comment, but the others were put up first. I did not do this poem justice I feel, but glad you liked last Stanza :).

Not to worry about chatting, I have not been able to come online as much as I want to, and feel terrible myself for not chatting or commenting on your work or others, but I will get round to it when possible. just really glad to hear off you and your well.
