Melon melancholic, manic medlar, guava gloom

Damson desolation, durian despair

Apricot aggression, raspberry rage and prickly pear

 

Mango miasma, lilly pilly lows

Loganberry listlessness, watermelon woes

Papaya petulance, goji berry grief

Guanabana gall and pomelo pique

 

Nonchalant banana, paw paw pang and breadfruit bile

Saw palmetto sickness, sea grape gripe and rhubarb rile

Passion fruit paroxysm, pomegranate pain

Honeydew hysteria, dessert fig distain

 

Whortleberry wretchedness, kaffir lime lament

Sapodilla sadness, tangerine torment

Rambutan repugnance, huckleberry hate

Orange opposition, cherry chagrin, fig frustrate

 

Custard apple acceptance, cloudberry consent

Boysenberry buoyancy, raspberry repent

Blackcurrant bleakness, mangosteen malais

Coconut co-operate,  plum permit to kumquat may

haha - this is brilliant! I really wonder how you got the inspiration for it. A written cue? Are you on one of those eat nothing but fruit diets?

Thanks so much insert. No fruit diets for me I'm afraid although I do eat a lot of nuts (they've gone to my head!) - inspiration from the Manic Street Preachers; whever I hear Motorcycle Emptiness it plays out in my head "pineapple emptiness..." - great song!

Hi Rhiannon, no 5 a day minimum as long as it's chocolate. Yes I am in horticulture, some of that obscure fruit difficult to find in Uk and impossible to grow. Thanks for reading and commenting.
