Dressed In Autumn's Colors

Paint me a scene where I can ramble
cruise down river on leisurely barge,
gazing at all the mystique in wonder
where roving secrets can unfold,
natural beauty; powerfully visual
see myself in that complex world,
Autumn to me is genuine bohemian
cloaked, transcends all other seasons,
trees when naked personify great physique;
when robed I marvel at eye catching grace,
bold oranges, golds, yellows, reds and browns,
swaying to mother nature's threads of sound.
lost in the moment with all evident charm;
coaxed by vivid dreamlike spiritual vision,
lavishly kaleidoscopic...a moment to reflect
in Autumn's colors for all the world to see.

This is beautiful Jenny - I wonder if that 'when' in the fourth line is supposed to be there?

There always seems the bright
There always seems the bright colours (kaleidescopic, as you put it), especially on sunny days, to complement the dull skies and sogginess that also comes with autumn. The stimulation of sharp breeze and cosy clothes and warm fires to return to, and catching up with things after the outdoor times of summer, all seem part of the pleasures of autumn time. Rhiannon
