It’s harmless enough,
the megalomania,
I suppose

As long as there’s a place
to come and scream,
unheard

From time to time.
And here is such
a place

Among the energetic
plants, where the
geraniums

Screech their heads off
in their own silent
scream

Of beauty

I'm there. Now. Just finished 2hrs of online seminar. Last hour of readable daylight in the greenhouse. Can't watch the telly. Can't sit in with curtains prematurely drawn. Seems a bit sad, but it's how it is. For now.

It doesn't seem sad. Sheds are sad because they are dark and full of tools of destruction like shears and lawnmowers. Greenhouses are light and and made for protecting and growing. You are protected by peace in yours and growing in knowledge with all this reading, under the changing hugeness of the sky   :0)

I had never thought of tomatoes as boisterous!!! What on earth are you feeding them??? You are not reading John Wyndham as one of your set authors are you?

:)) If only!

They've grown incredibly. Had a wobble when it reached over 80°F in the greenhouse and the day's growth was crispy. Liquid tomato feed and plenty of water whilst checking for root or shoot rot but they're surging.

Had to give up and go in as my mother gets very funny about me being out there once she declares hours of darkness by closing the curtains and putting the lights on. Never mind.
