Among Disney's characters
there is Cow Clarabelle
who's anthropomorphic
as far as we can tell.
Clarabelle's best friend
is a mouse named Minnie
with a polka dot dress,
a bow and a red pinny.
The cow had a boyfriend,
called Horace Horsecollar,
now she's a pal of Goofy,
a dog, somewhat taller.
His garments include
a turtle neck sweater,
white gloves, shoes,
and he's a trendsetter.
Their relationship
could become tricky
because he is a mate
of Donald and Mickey.
But their environment
is peaceful and merry;
theirs isn't a cartoon
like Tom and Jerry.

I love this poem Luigi, it's so lighthearted and cartoons are right up my street.
As always loved the rhythm and rhyme too.

Pinny... now there's a word
Pinny... now there's a word you don't hear very often these days. My dear old Nan would have considered herself naked without one.
Nice one Luigi! This is good smiley stuff.

A poem full of characters we know and love. Enjoyed, Luigi.
[Should that say "..of Donald and Mickey."?]
Keep well. Paul
