Working together

[Continuing the hymn-for-Sundays series]
Youth with strength and fresh new vision,
ready, speedy hands and feet.
Those grown older, tired and slower
cannot with their speed compete.
In those years they may have gathered
wisdom, and experience which
they can share with young ones, sparing
them from many a dead-end ditch.
So while young, be glad to listen
to advice with Bible base,
then when old you will be told to
share what you have learnt by grace.
Proverbs 20:29 The glory of young men is their strength, grey hair the splendour of the old.

youth and age
Rejoice, O young man, in thy youth; and let thy heart cheer thee in the days of thy youth, and walk in the ways of thine heart, and in the sight of thine eyes: but know thou, that for all these things God will bring thee into judgment.
Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;
Says it all, at risk on becoming a Bible puncher.
Have a great week Rhiannon! Nolan &

Such wisdom in that Proverb,
Such wisdom in that Proverb, and how you have interpteted it Rhiannon, and the generations are best when they live together in harmony and mutual respect.
