The Who's Who of Who
By Jane Hyphen
- 935 reads
Do you know who you are?
Haven't a clue
And I'm going nowhere
Waiting for who
If you want to get on
You must find out who's who
I couldn't care less
Who the hell are you?
But who will replace you
When who comes to take you?
Who knows, who is transient
Who becomes who
Do you know who
You know who is?
And where does who begin?
Does who start in the womb?
When exactly does who become whom?
Does who ever die?
When does who become I?
Who is mysterious
With a who one can lie
Who did this, it's wonderful?
I am who, it was I
Who is important
Do you know who I am?
You're a who
Is what you are
But who gives a damn?
Who is a hole
Who was there, now boo-hoo!
And who will remember
When you were a who?

After reading this, Jane, not
After reading this, Jane, not only do I not know who's who, or if it matters, but I'm no longer sure who I am. Even so, I very much enjoyed your play with words and ideas. And now, I'm afraid I'm going to have to lie down.
Best wishes,
