Thankfully we have died thousands of times,
Half of our being is spiritual, anyway,
Eventually we all pass.
Other people leave before us,
Tributes paid,
Hearse crawling along the high street,
Evenly keeping to twenty miles per hour or less,
Roses, carnations, lillies, African violets, whatever the deceased or relatives desires.
Service in a grand church or will the body be quietly cremated.
If dying without the funeral costs,
Disposing of the corpse will be the state's business.
Eagle statues on marble tombstones do look lovely.
