Only a monitor flickered
in the grasp of silence,
where my sadness
and your curiousity meet.
We await third party verdict;
eye gaze locked
to middle window, distance.
Geometric urban shades,
capsulated departments,
encapsulate thought
in strictly titred dosage;
cross reaction noted
and dismissed.
Spring sun strays a ray,
traces contours of your face
to play a smile in my sombre;
now, I perceive you,
beyond the holding hum
of background mechanisms
embalmed in hospital green.
Beautiful, fragile humanity
in the clasp of silence,
where your curiousity
and my sadness greet.

Beautiful, sad and utterly

Beautiful, sad and utterly believable. Nice take on the I.P. and certainly inspirational in any case.

I really like the third
I really like the third stanza but the whole piece is very good indeed.
