The storm

The birds tweeted softly
The trees swayed in the breeze
Animals scurried home
It was the calm before the storm!

Suddenly the clouds turned black
The wind howled like a wolf
The rain was fine at first
Then the rain got heavier and heavier
The clouds crackled above
it was dark
Then all of a sudden
FLASH of light
filled the sky for less than a second

Then the clouds parted
the rain became fine again
the birds tweeted softly like before
Was that the end of the storm?
