A real pleasure to read. I really loved the finishing line. It grants the reader with a sense of liberty and affirming individualism. Brilliant! 'in you belly button' is a stroke of genius; a humorous line that sustains the profundity of the piece, but veers away from any over-intensity. Cheers. Steve.

Thanks Moya, that could be one interpretation. The cut cord also indicates autonomy and a sly ref. to a piece of research that explored the microbiota of the bellybutton. Perhaps we carry a personal world with us inside and out :-D all the very best Lena xx
