Untold story, untold pain
As I sit here looking at your remains.
It was the 26th August 2010
The day god took you for a hand to lend,
We lost our mother, a wife and a friend.
I put on a smile, just to pretend.
But what lies under the smile is a mystery,
I'm just glad your out of your misery.
I hope one day I wake up,this was all a dream
because this feeling is getting way beyond extreme
in the letter you wrote me you said not to grieve
but I swear that word is just make believe
How dare you leave my side
just as I was on a bumpy ride
when I needed you most you turned into a ghost,
now i'm waving goodbye.
tear drops stroll down my cheek
people begin to think i'm a freak
but they don't know why i'm hurting this way
and memories are starting to rot like decay
Because when I needed you most you turned into a ghost,
now i'm waving goodbye.

I lost my Mum yeesterday.
I lost my Mum yesterday. Today I looked in the churchyard to find the special words people put on headstones which give something more than name and age. The best one I found said something like " her laughing spirit lives on in those who knew her".

Hello Kate,
Hello Kate,
This is a lovely expression of your sad loss. To lose your mother when you are still so young must be very hard but I feel sure she's looking down and saying, 'Yes, that's my Kate down there. I always knew she would make me proud.'
