Love Song to the Universe (Poetry Monthly)
By Philip Sidney
- 1854 reads
i am small
a tiny dot shrinking beyond < invisibility...
at the centre of the screen
♦
after all the lights are off
YOU would not miss me even if you noticed that i had been ⇒ here X
then
g0ne.
I sing the white noise song of eternity
always at the beginning no end…
I nestle against you to find comfort
to forget how vast you are and that I-am-a-part-of-YOU
I ignore your laws and bend my own
to fit against a shape I cannot comprehend
We watch segments of our story flicker their neon tails through the dark spaces

Can't pretend I understand it
Can't pretend I understand it all. But it's fascinating. Leaves a huge vast picture and a feeling of both smallness and safety.

Hi Helen
Very clever and interesting to read, whether we totally understand it or not.
