So Must Night Descend Into Day

Overhead hazy
brightness partially
fulfilled, sails on
leisurely breezes,
hardly prismatic...only
faint rays in pearls,
sunrise dew drops
detaching night into day,
whilst invisible moon elegantly
drifts off in dreams, this lunar
sleeps in celestial community
till darkness returns.
Cascading light no longer frail,
soothes troubled minds...ascends
waking hours as wreathed, swathing
pleasure and tensions of human souls,
fortifying resolve, unease
of restless mortals inherit in
their struggles, they anchor
safe existence of sun quenched day.

I love the idea of the moon
I love the idea of the moon sleeping in "celestial community till darkness returns"! You always look at things in a unique way. This poem conjures up the light and peace of a beautiful cloudscape

Good one
I like how you often throw a lot of nature into poems. It's always soothing.
