Did I say I'm sorry,did I tell you that you're right
Or did I just stand there,spoiling for a fight
Did I say forgive me, did I utter those fine words
Or did I just mumble and say something quite absurd
Did I say I love you,did I say how much I care
Or did I just fold my arms and give you a hard stare
Did I say I love your smile,did I say you light my day
Or did I say the opposite and pretend to walk away
I should have said all these things, I know the words you crave
Instead I live regretting things while I'm visiting your grave.

Ah Moya, thank you. It was inspired by a TV programme I was watching, where an old gentleman was talking about his wife who had passed away. He was saying that he should have told her more often how he really felt. Lesson for all of us there me thinks!
