Nice to remember these family and funny incidents. I feel all such malapropisms I've heard have comepletly gone from my mind, but maybe some will come back. I do remember one of my sons who was reading quite early asking, with bewilderment why...
A lovely crafted and inspiring poem, Linda. I especially also like the first stanza with the description of the bustling crowd and the happy couples compared to the speaker's loneliness.
